Acer is renewing its line of laptops for 2022 with the Swift 5 and Swift 3.
Acer Swift 5: a new top of the range
The Acer Swift 5 (SF514-56T) benefits from a thin 14.95 mm thick aluminum case. Its unibody design looks neat with a nice brushed finish on the edges and a 16:10 (2560×1600) screen that extends to all four corners of the chassis. Under its hood is a 12th generation Intel Core processor with up to 12 cores, an Intel Iris Xe graphics layer, 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory and up to 2 TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. HDMI ports, USB 3.2, Thunderbolt, Wi-Fi 6E and also an FHD webcam.
Acer Swift 3: more modest…and playful
While the Swift 5 plays the “pro” card, its little brother the Swift 3 adopts different colors and wants to be more playful. It features a 14-inch QHD or FHD touchscreen display, 12th Gen Intel Core processors, and up to 2TB of storage. The connection is also generous with USB Type-C, USB Type-A and HDMI 2.1 ports, not to mention WiFi 6E either.
